Job description
Occupational Therapist
Provide occupational therapy services to elementary school students, supporting their developmental and academic needs. Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans and assess student progress. Work independently with a caseload of approximately 30 students over a 12-week contract in Mendon, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to elementary school students, supporting their developmental and academic needs.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Conduct assessments to evaluate student needs and growth.
Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Document sessions and progress in compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent related field.
Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts; NBCOT Certification preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting with elementary caseloads and approximately 30 students.
Must pass background check and health screening.
