Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a long-term occupational therapist substitute for the school year, providing essential support and care from November 2, 2026, through March 29, 2027. Ideal candidates will bring:
A current license and certification as an Occupational Therapist
Previous experience working in a school setting or with children/adolescents
Strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration skills
Flexibility and adaptability to meet individual student needs
An understanding of IEP process and experience in implementing therapy within educational plans
What you'll do in this role: Evaluate students' needs and develop tailored therapy plans
Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to facilitate student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Offer guidance and support for classroom modifications and adaptive strategies
Participate in meetings as a member of the student support team
