Job description
Step into a rewarding contract position serving students as an Occupational Therapist in a supportive part-time role. What you'll need to succeed:
Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
Proven experience in school-based OT or an educational environment
Background in home health or broader healthcare OT settings is a plus
Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and individualized education planning
Excellent communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Ability to manage shifting caseload needs and maintain detailed documentation
Key responsibilities: Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in a supportive school setting
Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
Provide interventions that support daily living skills and facilitate student participation in school activities
Maintain thorough records and compliance with school and regulatory standards
Adapt to potentially increasing hours as the need for evaluations or therapies arises
