Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Knowledge of child development, sensory processing, and intervention strategies
Ability to create and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
Proficiency in documentation and electronic records
Comfort working with a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students with varying needs
Deliver direct and consultative OT services aligned with students' IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to integrate therapy into the classroom
Monitor and document progress, keeping stakeholders informed
Educate families and school staff on strategies and accommodations to support students' success
Participate in IEP meetings and make recommendations for services or modifications
Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance students' fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
