Job description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' growth and development as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the Fort Worth, TX area. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active OT license in Texas (or eligibility for licensure)
Previous experience working with pediatric, school-aged, or adolescent populations preferred
Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements in an educational context
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Ability to motivate and engage students across a range of abilities
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and interpret results to create individualized intervention plans for students
Develop, implement, and monitor treatment strategies targeting fine motor, sensory, visual, and self-help skills
Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists
Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in group settings
Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
Offer guidance and in-service training to staff on best OT practices, accommodations, and adaptive tools
