Job description
Make a real difference in the lives of students as an Occupational Therapist providing contract services near Indianapolis, IN! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic school setting, collaborating with dedicated educators and supporting students' growth and development.
In this role, you'll assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions that nurture physical, sensory, and cognitive skills. Your expertise will empower students to access their curriculum and participate fully in school life.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Valid OT licensure (or eligibility) in the state of Indiana
Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Passion for working with children and helping them achieve their fullest potential
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations and develop targeted intervention plans for students
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with a variety of needs
Document progress and maintain clear, organized records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise as a valued team member
