Job description

Key Qualifications:
Current NM state (NMRLD) license and NMPED credentials (NMPED may be pending, but must be in place by the start date)
Experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
Strong skills in virtual/remote therapy platforms, or a positive attitude toward learning new technologies
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Flexibility to discuss caseload age preferences during the interview process
Primary Responsibilities: Provide virtual occupational therapy services to elementary students, focusing on the development of fine motor, sensory processing, and functional life skills
Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement tailored therapy interventions
Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' success in the classroom and beyond
Track and document student progress, ensuring compliance with state regulations and school procedures
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
