Job description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students across K-12 by providing school-based occupational therapy services. In this contract opportunity, you will work in a collaborative educational setting, delivering life-changing interventions that help students reach their goals. This full-time, onsite position runs through the academic year and offers the chance to build lasting professional relationships in an engaging multidisciplinary environment.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license through the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric occupational therapy setting is strongly preferred
Ability to manage a varied caseload of 45-60 students, providing tailored interventions based on individual service minutes
Comfortable working with students across multiple grade levels (K-12)
Collaborative spirit, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork with educators, families, and school support staff
Strong organizational skills for documentation, assessment, and time management
Role Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, direct therapy services, and consultative support in accordance with students' IEPs
Develop customized interventions to help students build functional skills for academic and daily living success
Work closely with teachers and other providers to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom routines
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy activities
Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and collaborative problem-solving to support student needs
