Job description
Make a meaningful impact by providing occupational therapy services across an entire county, supporting elementary, middle, and high school students. This contract position offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to work as an itinerant OT, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed both academically and developmentally. Qualifications and Experience:
Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
Experience working in school settings preferred
Knowledge of best practices in school-based occupational therapy
Ability to manage a flexible, travel-based schedule
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and administrators
Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to changing environments
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities: Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across five elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress
Travel between school locations throughout the week as assigned
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
