School Occupational Therapist - Ridgefield, Washington
Make a positive impact this school year by providing vital support as a school-based Occupational Therapist serving K-12 students across several vibrant communities. This contract opportunity allows you to work closely with a diverse group of students to help foster their success and independence in educational settings. You’ll be joining a supportive and responsive team environment with flexible interview times and the possibility of contract renewal for the following school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license and ESA certification.
Previous experience working with children or in school settings is highly valued.
Ability to manage a caseload of roughly 55 students with varying needs and disabilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and students.
Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for students of all abilities.
Comfortable working across multiple school locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and develop individualized treatment plans that address student needs in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behaviors.
Provide direct occupational therapy services and consultation to students ages K-12.
Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and parents on goals, progress, and interventions.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation on student progress in compliance with school policies.
Engage in team meetings and contribute expertise to support educational programming and student success.

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
