Job description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' growth as a contract Occupational Therapist in a vibrant school setting near San Ramon, CA. You will collaborate with educators and families, providing expert care and intervention to help students reach their fullest potential both academically and personally.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
Implement evidence-based interventions to help students access their curriculum and improve daily functioning
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure comprehensive support
Document progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team
Remain current on best practices and innovative strategies in occupational therapy
