Job description
Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to a supportive school environment near South San Francisco, CA. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled OT who thrives in dynamic educational settings and is ready to make a meaningful impact with students.
You'll have a unique, flexible assignment structure: fulfill 25 days of services, delivered either through an intensive full-time, five-week block or by working two days a week from now through the end of the school year. Enjoy the benefit of competitive hourly compensation ranging from $55 to $65 per hour as you support student success and collaborate with dedicated educational professionals.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
Experience providing OT services within K-12 school environments is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation processes
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Ability to design interventions that foster occupational performance for diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities: Deliver targeted OT services according to student IEP goals and timelines
Conduct assessments and create evidence-based intervention plans
Work closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure optimal student outcomes
Maintain detailed records and progress documentation in compliance with school and district requirements
Adapt therapeutic approaches to individual learning styles and needs
