School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

nUnder the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation to students in the school setting.
nMinimum Requirements:
nnnCurrent certification or licensure as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant in the state of practice
n
nnGraduate of an accredited school of Occupational TherapyAssistant required
n
nnOne (1) year of experience as an Occupational TherapyAssistant preferred
n
nnPediatric experience preferred
n
nnComplies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
n
nnCurrent CPR if applicable
n
nnTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnCurrent Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
n
nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirements
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
