Qualifications & Skills:
Valid certification or license as a school psychologist
Previous experience working with K-12 students in an academic setting preferred
Excellent assessment, evaluation, and counseling abilities
Comprehensive understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and special education procedures
Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, counselors, and parents
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in building positive relationships with students and staff
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
Provide individual and group counseling services to students as needed
Participate in the development and monitoring of individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
Offer consultative support to educators and parents, promoting strategies that address students behavioral and academic needs
Collaborate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure optimal student outcomes
Deliver crisis intervention and support when necessary
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate
