Job description
Our client is seeking a school psychologist for an elementary school opportunity in Barnegat, NJ. This is a Full School Day Hours opportunity.
Compensation:
+$53 an hour
CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
Certified NJ School Psychologist through the NJ Department of Education.
Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing data-driven recommendations.
Strong communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills with knowledge of special education laws and procedures.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and complete comprehensive assessment reports.
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
Monitor student progress and recommend evidence-based interventions and supports.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations and timelines.
