Job description
Make a meaningful impact as a bilingual school psychologist in a friendly and collaborative educational setting near Bastrop, TX. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a compassionate professional ready to support K12 students academic, social, and emotional growth across a diverse student population.
Qualifications:
Active certification or licensure as a school psychologist
Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English strongly preferred)
Previous experience working as a school psychologist in school settings
Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and counseling strategies for diverse learners
Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments for referred students
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide culturally responsive counseling and consultation services to students and families
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a positive learning environment
Advocate for students social, emotional, and academic well-being
Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
Participate in parent meetings, staff workshops, and team conferences
