Job description
Make a difference as a school psychologist supporting students success and well-being throughout the academic year. This contract role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 7, 2027, offering an engaging opportunity to work full-time near Bedford, OH. Youll serve one building, focusing your expertise on meaningful connections, positive interventions, and thorough evaluation and support.
What were seeking:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Ohio
Experience with student assessments, IEP development, and delivering evidence-based interventions
Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students effectively
Familiarity with evaluation processes, special education procedures, and collaborative student planning
Skill in working closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Strong organizational and communication abilities
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Providing direct and indirect interventions to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
Collaborating with staff, administration, and families to ensure the best outcomes for each student
Maintaining detailed and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
Acting as a resource and advocate for students, helping to create a positive and inclusive school climate
