Job description

In this dynamic contract position, you’ll play a key role in serving a vibrant student community, collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and families. Preferred Qualifications:
Current Connecticut certification as a School Psychologist, or eligibility with pending certification (applications welcomed from candidates awaiting certification)
Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
Experience with psychoeducational assessments, eligibility determination, and intervention planning in a school setting
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Comfort working in-person with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations as required by the district and state guidelines
Interpret assessment results, generate clear reports, and make recommendations based on data
Participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, consulting with teachers and families
Provide crisis intervention and direct support to students as needed
Collaborate to develop interventions and strategies that enhance student well-being and academic achievement
