Job description
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, serving two educational sites near Chatsworth, CA. This full-time position empowers you to make a difference in the lives of students, collaborating with dedicated school staff to foster a positive learning environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience working in school settings supporting children from diverse backgrounds
Familiarity with the latest assessment tools and special education protocols
Strong communication and counseling skills for students, staff, and parents
Ability to travel between two school locations as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
Deliver direct counseling services to students, supporting mental health and behavioral needs
Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention strategies
Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary
Maintain accurate, confidential student records and required documentation
Contribute expertise to eligibility determination and re-evaluation processes
