Step into a dynamic role providing critical support across multiple educational settings as a Full Time School Psychologist. This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students near Farmington, MI. You’ll play a vital role in supporting 2-3 schools, focusing primarily on conducting evaluations and collaborating with school teams to foster student growth and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Specialist's degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or the ability to obtain one for MI)
Experience in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and writing reports
Familiarity with assessment tools, special education law, and best practices in intervention
Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
Comfortable working across multiple school sites
Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
Your Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education services
Prepare and deliver detailed written reports and present findings in meetings
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to plan and implement individualized interventions or supports
Consult with staff on academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns impacting student learning
Support the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
Maintain up-to-date and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
