This full-time contract opportunity, conveniently located near Glendale, AZ, is ideal for those eager to support diverse student populations and collaborate within a dynamic educational setting.
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
Proficiency in English and Spanish; able to conduct assessments and communicate with students and families in both languages
Knowledge of current best practices for assessment, intervention, and consultation in a school environment
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Previous experience as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to educational teams
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to develop and support individualized education programs
Deliver counseling services, behavioral interventions, and crisis response as needed
Support students social, emotional, and academic development
Maintain accurate, timely records and complete necessary documentation
Advocate for culturally responsive interventions, fostering inclusive learning environments
