Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students growth and success in a vibrant educational environment near Aurora, IL! Two full-time positions are available for experienced School Psychologists eager to make a difference for young learners. Each role will be split between two elementary schools, offering a dynamic work experience and the chance to collaborate with diverse teams across campuses. This contract role begins in August, aligning with the start of the new academic year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
Valid Illinois licensure as a School Psychologist
Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is highly valued
Strong skills in assessment, intervention, consultation, and collaboration
Exceptional communication abilities to connect with students, families, and staff
Ability to thrive while managing caseloads across two school sites
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data to guide interventions
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to create supportive learning plans
Develop and assist with behavioral and academic interventions
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support IEP development
Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
Foster a positive, inclusive school climate at both assigned schools
