Job description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students for the full academic year in the Cassopolis, MI area. This full-time role offers the chance to provide meaningful impact within a diverse school setting, collaborating with staff, students, and families to promote student success. Qualifications and Experience:
Hold an active Michigan School Psychologist license
Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 student populations
Familiarity with comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
Proficient in developing student-centered interventions
Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Flexible and resourceful approach to challenges
Core Responsibilities:
Manage a K-12th grade caseload, providing direct psychological and counseling services
Conduct multifaceted assessments to identify student needs and strengths
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
Serve as a resource on Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a safe, positive learning environment
Support crisis intervention and prevention programs
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Participate actively in IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team activities
