Job description
Bring your expertise in school psychology to an engaging contract role in the Castle Rock, CO area, serving two elementary schools. This part-time opportunity allows you to impact students educational journeys with just one day per week at each of two welcoming schools. Your knowledge will play a vital role in supporting the special education needs of elementary-aged students while collaborating with dedicated staff and families.
Key Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
Experience in special education assessment, including cognitive, behavioral, and socio-emotional evaluations
Strong understanding of IEP processes and legal compliance
Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with students, educators, and parents
Ability to work independently across multiple school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility and services
Interpret testing results and effectively communicate findings to multidisciplinary team members and families
Contribute to IEP planning and provide recommendations based on assessment results
Consult with teachers, support staff, and administrators regarding students social, emotional, and learning needs
Support intervention planning and participate in problem-solving meetings
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district guidelines and deadlines
