Job description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students and educational communities as a school psychologist in the Garden City, MI area. Key Qualifications:
Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Commitment to ethical and culturally-responsive practices
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students across various age groups
Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop interventions and support strategies
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations for student success
Offer crisis intervention and mental health support as needed
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
Consult with school staff and parents regarding students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
