Job description
Step into a rewarding role supporting students success and well-being as a School Psychologist. This full-time, contract opportunity features an itinerant schedule, allowing you to engage with multiple school sites and make a meaningful impact across both middle and elementary grade levels. Leverage your expertise to provide vital services in the areas of initial evaluations and reevaluations, helping schools ensure students receive the support and resources they need.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
Proven experience working within school settings.
Strong skills in conducting and interpreting assessments for initial and re-evaluations.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.
Ability to travel between sites as required for an itinerant role.
Familiarity with a variety of student populations, from elementary through middle school.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations.
Write clear and thorough assessment reports.
Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams to contribute to educational planning.
Advocate for appropriate services and interventions for students.
Collaborate with staff and caregivers to foster positive educational outcomes.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to compliance requirements.
