Job description

Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist
Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
Proficiency in administering standardized assessments and interpreting results
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), IEPs, and Section 504 plans
Ability to counsel students individually and in groups
Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention and academic support plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to promote student well‑being
Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on eligibility and service needs
Offer crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal regulations
Support initiatives for positive school climate and mental health awareness
