Job description
A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated professional with expertise in school psychology. This full-time role focuses on supporting elementary students through comprehensive assessments, insightful report writing, and active participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
In this position, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to foster a positive learning environment and directly impact the well-being and success of students.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience working in school settings, preferably at the elementary level
Strong skills in administering psychological and educational assessments
Proficiency in preparing detailed, clear, and timely reports
Comfortable facilitating and contributing in IEP meetings
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and academic assessments for elementary students
Interpret test results to guide educational planning and interventions
Write comprehensive, actionable reports based on testing outcomes
Attend and contribute at IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Serve as a resource to staff and parents regarding a range of student needs
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed within the school community
