Advance your career as a School Psychologist with a rewarding contract opportunity near Towson, MD! We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide vital psychological services to middle school students within a supportive educational setting. With three full-time openings available, these positions offer a stable 33.75-hour workweek (Monday through Friday, 7:25am-2:40pm), with consideration for part-time schedules of 3-4 days per week for the right candidates.
Ideal candidates are passionate about fostering academic, social, and emotional growth in young adolescents. Collaborate with a dynamic team of educators and help create a positive learning environment where students can thrive. What we're looking for:
Current Maryland certification as a School Psychologist (required)
Experience working in a middle school setting (preferred)
Solid knowledge of assessment tools, counseling strategies, and IEP processes
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong commitment to supporting students’ behavioral and academic needs
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing intervention plans
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
Providing individual and group counseling as needed
Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expert recommendations
Supporting crisis interventions and positive behavioral supports within the school
