Job description
Exciting opportunity for a contract School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact across all grade levels near Vernon Hills, IL. This role offers a dynamic blend of testing, team collaboration, parent engagement, and MTSS support, providing services through May 28, 2026. You'll work 37.5 hours per week, primarily onsite, with the option for one hybrid day—completing all testing in person while handling indirect services from home.
Qualifications & Experience
Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) as a School Psychologist required
Experience working with K-12 and transition-age students
Expertise in a variety of student evaluations and assessment tools
Comfortable participating in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
Strong communication skills for engaging parents and staff partners
Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) implementation is a plus
Role Responsibilities
Conduct diverse psychological evaluations for students across all grades, including transition age
Attend and contribute to team meetings and offer support for parent conferences
Deliver actionable recommendations for student interventions and supports
Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and administrators within a structured school environment
Provide input and resources for MTSS as needed
Manage caseloads efficiently, focusing on quality assessments and timely reporting
Potential hybrid schedule: one day of remote work weekly for indirect services

Compensation for this position ranges from $44.92 to $64.92.
