Job description
Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working onsitewith flexibility for a hybrid schedule if needed. The assignment runs from August 19th through May 26th, averaging 37.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement
Meets all applicable district and state-specific credentialing requirements
Previous experience or familiarity with school-based psychological services preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive educational environment
Core Responsibilities:
Serve as a Preschool Psychologist based at an elementary school
Manage a case load with a specific grade level focus; details to be provided at interview
Evaluate and support individual students educational, social, and emotional needs
Conduct formal assessments, write psychological reports, and participate in IEP meetings
Collaborate with school staff, families, and external partners to implement effective interventions
Provide consultation, crisis response, and recommendations for classroom strategies
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
