Job description
A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a full-time School Psychologist near Lemon Grove, CA. Step into a vital role covering a leave, starting in December and continuing through the end of the school year. This position will allow you to support students academic, social, and emotional well-being, making a significant impact during a pivotal time. The specific caseload will be discussed during the interview process to ensure the best fit for both you and the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid licensure and credentialing as a School Psychologist in California
Experience providing psychological evaluations, counseling, and intervention in an educational setting
Strong knowledge of school-based assessment tools and techniques
Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
Ability to collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on student needs and eligibility
Offer individual and group counseling for students
Develop and implement intervention strategies to support academic and emotional growth
Consult with educators, parents, and administrators regarding student challenges and solutions
Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policy and law
