Job description
Make an impact supporting students academic, social, and emotional well-being in a dynamic school environment. This contract position is ideal for dedicated school psychologists who are committed to fostering positive change and providing essential services to students of all backgrounds.
Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility)
Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and working with diverse student populations
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
Familiarity with IEP processes and legal requirements in educational settings
What you will do:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to special education eligibility decisions
Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student learning and emotional health
Design and implement direct and indirect interventions to address students academic and behavioral needs
Assist in crisis response, providing counseling and resources as needed
Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
