We are currently seeking a school psychologist for a full-time opportunity in Monroe County, Michigan , for the school year .
Position Details
* Full-time, Monday-Friday
* Standard Hours: 8:05 AM - 3:55 PM
* Start Date - ASAP
* Between Detroit and Toledo
Qualifications
* Master's or Ed.S. degree in School Psychology required.
* Meet the requirements, at a minimum, under R380.20I et seq for a preliminary School Psychologist certificate as outlined by the Michigan State Department of Education.
Pay
* $58.00-$62.00 per hour
* $2,320-$2,480 per week
Responsibilities
* Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism, ADHD, emotional or behavioral disorders, and giftedness.
* Provide individual or group counseling for issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress, anger, and peer relationships.
* Recommend evidence-based interventions to improve academic performance.
* Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
* Collaborate with parents to support students at home and school.
