Job description
Make a positive impact supporting K-5 students as a School Psychologist in a collaborative elementary school environment. This full-time, onsite contract role focuses on comprehensive services, where you'll contribute expertise in student assessment and program development while working alongside dedicated educational professionals.
Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience working in an elementary school setting is preferred
Knowledge of eligibility determination and student evaluation processes
Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and legal requirements
Comfortable participating in risk and threat assessment protocols
Effective communicator, adept at working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct eligibility determinations, initial evaluations, and re-evaluations for K-5 students
Participate fully in IEP development, including creation and review of documentation, and engaging in team meetings
Serve on the risk and threat assessment team, providing assessments and recommendations as appropriate
Offer consultation, strategies, and resources to building staff and student support teams
Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with school policies and state/federal guidelines
Foster inclusive, supportive learning environments by using data-driven decision-making and evidence-based practices
