Job description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' well-being and academic growth as a school psychologist in a collaborative educational setting. Work alongside dedicated educators and families to provide insight, assessments, and intervention strategies that foster student success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist
Experience working in school settings preferred
Strong understanding of psychological assessments and IEP process
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Empathy, discretion, and passion for helping students of diverse backgrounds
Familiarity with current educational and psychological best practices
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students learning, behavioral, or emotional needs
Provide direct counseling and intervention for students individually or in small groups
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans
Participate in student support team meetings and provide guidance in developing IEPs
Counsel students facing academic, personal, or social challenges
Deliver professional recommendations to staff and families regarding student support
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations
Promote a positive school climate and cultivate students coping skills and resilience
