Job description
Make an immediate impact supporting students and staff as a dedicated school psychologist on a contract basis near Saint Paul, MN. This rewarding opportunity allows you to collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to foster healthy school environments and promote student well-being.
Qualifications:
Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Current and valid license as a school psychologist in Minnesota
Knowledge of assessment tools, interventions, and evidence-based practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience developing and implementing individualized education and behavioral plans
Familiarity with special education law and process
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and diagnostic assessments for students
Interpret assessment results and provide clear recommendations for educational planning
Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support interventions and student success
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the eligibility process
Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students, families, and staff
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal requirements
Support positive school climates through training, prevention programs, and responsive services
