Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students and educational teams in the Suwanee, GA area as a School Psychologist. Make a meaningful difference while collaborating with educators, families, and professionals to support students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
What Were Looking For:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Current state certification/license to practice as a School Psychologist
Previous school-based experience is highly valued
Familiarity with a broad range of assessments, interventions, and counseling strategies
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Strong understanding of special education evaluation processes and IEP development
Organized, flexible, and committed to student-centered approaches
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
Provide direct servicessuch as individual and group counselingto students with varied needs
Work closely with school staff and families to design appropriate intervention strategies
Participate in eligibility meetings, IEPs, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure each childs needs are met
Offer crisis intervention and consultative support as required
Promote positive school climates and support social-emotional learning through evidence-based practices
