Job description

Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Virginia School Psychologist License (required)
Experience working within K-12 settings preferred
Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and best practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and parents
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students
Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Implement evidence-based interventions and counseling for students, supporting both academic and social-emotional growth
Consult with teachers, families, and other support staff to address barriers to learning and promote a positive school climate
Maintain thorough documentation and actively participate in meetings regarding student progress and evaluations
