This role plays a vital part in promoting student success and well- being, working closely with the K-12 population across multiple schools. Essential Experience & Licensure:
Active Michigan School Psychologist license required
Prior experience with K-12 students in educational settings is preferred
Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
Ability to provide effective support to students, families, and educators
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Flexibility and adaptability working between sites and managing varying caseloads
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students learning, social, emotional, or behavioral needs
Provide direct counseling, intervention, and crisis support to students
Develop and implement evidence-based strategies and individualized student plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
Participate in special education eligibility evaluations and IEP meetings
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state guidelines
Offer professional recommendations for instructional or behavioral interventions
