Job description
Make a meaningful difference in students lives by supporting elementary learners as an onsite School Psychologist in a welcoming educational environment near Ypsilanti, MI. This contract role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with flexibility for either full-time or part-time schedules. Youll be a key part of the student support team, collaborating with educators and families to foster a positive, inclusive school atmosphere.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid, active Michigan School Psychologist license (please submit license with your application)
Masters degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
Previous experience working in schools is preferred
Strong communication and collaborative skills
Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and support for elementary students
Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to design and implement effective interventions
Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students through targeted counseling and behavior management strategies
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with all requirements
