Job description
Step into a dynamic and rewarding contract role supporting a dedicated group of nursing professionals. This full-time opportunity covers the entire school year and offers the chance to oversee nursing operations across four buildings, all of which are supported by their own on-site RN. Your expertise as a Certified School Nurse (CSN) will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standard of care and guidance.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to provide accurate medical documentation
Adept in team collaboration and supporting peers
Primary Responsibilities: Serve as the clinical lead, providing guidance and resources to RNs stationed in each building
Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educational teams
Complete medical reviews promptly and thoroughly to support student needs
Handle initial and reevaluation assessments as required-no set caseload allows for focus on quality of care
Foster a positive and supportive environment for staff and students alike
