School Nurse (RN)

Desired Qualifications:
Active RN license in Pennsylvania
Prior experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency with health documentation and reporting requirements
Empathy, compassion, and a passion for working with children
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, onsite healthcare to elementary students, including first aid and medication administration
Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, allergies, and communicable diseases
Maintain accurate student health records and ensure compliance with state-mandated screenings and immunizations
Partner with teachers and staff to support individualized health plans and promote a culture of wellness
Educate students, staff, and parents on healthy practices and safety protocols
Serve as a resource for health-related concerns and crisis situations
