School Registered Nurse (RN)
School Registered Nurse (RN) Setting: Schools Job Type: Contract - Full Time Pay: $38 / Hour Hours: 35.00 Location: Holiday, FL
The School Registered Nurse oversees the application of thennursing process and the delivery of student care in a school setting. ThenSchool RN supports the physical, mental and emotional well-being of studentsnwithin the school setting. The School RN plays an essential role in promotingnthe health and safety, responding to medical emergencies, managing chronicnconditions and serving as a liaison between families, school staff andnhealthcare providers. The School RN provides services in accordance with Amergis’nphilosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.
nMinimum Requirements: n
n Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state ofnemployment
Bachelor's Degree, preferred n
School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract
One year of school nursing, public health or pediatricnexperience, preferred
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofnpractice
Current CPR if applicable n
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or statenregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
