Job description
An exciting contract opportunity awaits an experienced RN Nurse with a passion for supporting school-aged children in an educational environment. Key Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license
Previous nursing experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
Ability to respond quickly to medical emergencies and communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents
Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation
Strong organizational, assessment, and triage skills
Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and manage chronic conditions for students
Deliver first aid and emergency care as needed
Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student health plans
Teach and promote healthy lifestyle practices within the school community
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings when required
