Shift Duration: 12-hour days
Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,150 - $3,310
Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift
Call: No call
Job Requirements Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska or another U.S. state
Direct-hire candidates must apply for Alaska RN licensure before the start date
3 years of professional clinical instructor experience required
5 years of professional nursing experience required, including at least 2 years as a staff RN in a specialty area such as ER, ICU, OB, or OR
2 years of supervisory experience required
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC instructor certification preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; nursing school graduate required
Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and adult learning skills
Prior emergency nursing, trauma education, or remote rural healthcare experience preferred
Responsibilities Design, teach, and evaluate clinical education and training programs for nursing staff
Support ongoing competency development and maintain required certifications across the consortium
Coordinate and provide resources for ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and related nursing education programs
Oversee trauma registrar functions and support trauma program compliance and designation readiness
Collaborate with site leaders, department managers, and performance improvement teams to identify educational needs
Develop and facilitate evidence-based learning opportunities for professional and non-professional staff
Support audits, action plans, and quality improvement efforts related to clinical education
Guide staff development, mentorship, and ongoing professional growth
Maintain current knowledge of regulations, standards, and policies relevant to clinical education and trauma programming
Foster a positive, team-oriented learning environment that promotes safe, effective, high-quality patient care
