Job description

Key Qualifications:
Active RN license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
Previous school nursing or pediatrics experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
CPR certification and up-to-date immunizations
Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and empathy
Primary Responsibilities: Administer routine and emergency nursing care to students and staff
Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic health conditions
Dispense medication and manage health records following state and federal guidelines
Educate students and staff on health promotion and disease prevention
Serve as a health resource for parents, faculty, and administrators
Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and coordinate with external healthcare providers when needed
