Job description
Registered Nurse - Elementary Student Care
Step into a rewarding full-time contract position as a Registered Nurse providing dedicated 1:1 care for an elementary student in a supportive school environment. Qualifications
Current, active Illinois RN license required
Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare preferred
Knowledge of chronic health conditions and medical procedures common in a school setting
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
Compliance with any additional district or state requirements (such as PEL, Para Cert, or other requested by the school administration)
Responsibilities
Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing care for an elementary-aged student throughout the school day
Administer medication, monitor health status, and respond to emergencies promptly
Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with school policies
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure safety and support in the classroom
Participate in individualized education planning and meetings as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.00 to $45.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
