Job description

In this role, you'll become the key point of care for students who aren't feeling their best, ensuring quick assessment and compassionate attention in a modern, student-centered environment. Your knowledge and calm presence will help students navigate minor illnesses and support the ongoing management of prescribed medications.
Desired Qualifications:
Active RN license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
Previous experience working with school-aged children or in a school setting is highly valued
Comfortable providing care autonomously in a health office environment
Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff
Ability to manage medication administration per school protocol
Key Responsibilities: Assess and tend to students presenting with illnesses or injuries throughout the school day
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Administer medication as needed, safeguarding student health and safety
Provide first aid and emergency care according to clinical guidelines
Communicate with families and staff concerning student health issues when appropriate
Foster a welcoming, safe environment in the health room
