School Nurse Position
Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district to hire a school nurse to work in Peru, Illinois. As a school professional with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as a School-based Registered Nurse.
Qualifications:
Illinois RN License through the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Illinois ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse endorsement
American Heart Association BLS
Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting
School Health Office RN Contract Details:
$47.40 - $51.05 per hour
13-week contracts
Schedule follows the school district calendar
RN will see students on an as-needed basis in the school health office
Nurse will be working in collaboration with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardian(s) to promote physical and emotional safety and wellness
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Providing healthcare to students with acute or chronic health problems
Conduct screenings and write referrals for health services or treatment
Maintaining Student Records while complying with state and federal screenings
Promoting education and wellness initiatives
